Precision CNC Machining of Aluminium Castings

We don't just cast your part — we machine it to final tolerance, finish it and inspect it, all under one ISO 9001:2015 roof. Casting and machining in one accountable workflow means no vendor juggling, faster iterations and a single point of responsibility from raw casting to finished, fitted component.

Why Cast + Machine Together

One supplier, from raw casting to finished part.

Most aluminium components need machining after they're cast — bores, faces, threaded holes and mating surfaces have to hit tolerances no as-cast process can hold. When casting and machining sit with two different suppliers, you carry the cost: parts shipped back and forth, two quality systems to reconcile, and a finger-pointing gap whenever a feature falls out of spec.

At Ishaan Engineering, your part is cast, fettled, machined, finished and inspected on the same site. That gives you one quote, one accountable team and a much shorter loop when a drawing changes — we can adjust the die, re-cast and re-machine without coordinating across vendors. It is the same one-stop discipline behind our aluminium pressure die casting, carried right through to the finished component.

  • Single accountability — no gap between caster and machinist
  • Faster iterations — die, casting and machining adjusted together
  • One quote, one quality system, one delivery
  • Parts ship fitted, coated and inspection-ready
The Machining Workflow

From raw casting to ready-to-fit.

Each casting moves through a controlled sequence of operations so the finished part arrives dimensionally correct, cleanly finished and ready for your assembly line.

Fettling & deburring

Gates, runners and flash are removed and edges dressed, so every casting reaches the machine bed clean and ready for accurate work-holding.

CNC machining

Milling and turning of faces, bores, pockets and mating surfaces — bringing critical features to final tolerance against your drawing.

Drilling & tapping

Holes, counterbores and threaded features drilled and tapped to specification, ready to fasten and assemble straight out of the box.

Shot blasting

A uniform matte surface that removes residual scale and prepares the casting for a consistent, well-adhering coat.

Powder & primer coating

Durable, corrosion-resistant powder coating or primer for a clean finish that holds up in service and in transit.

Inspection & dispatch

Dimensional and visual checks before the part is packed, so what leaves our floor matches what's on the drawing.

Tolerances & Finish

Held to your drawing, confirmed per part.

Achievable tolerance and surface finish depend on the alloy, the feature, the wall section and the post-treatment a part receives — so rather than quote generic numbers, we confirm capability against your specific drawing. Mark up the critical dimensions, datums and any threaded or sealing features, and we'll tell you exactly what we can hold and where.

Because we machine our own castings, we can plan machining stock and datums into the casting and tooling stage — locating features placed where they make the part easiest to fixture and most repeatable. Share a 2D drawing or 3D/CAD file and we'll review feasibility and machining strategy together with the casting. You can also rotate and inspect your geometry in our free 3D viewer before you send it across.

Quality & Documentation

Inspected, traceable, certified.

Machining quality is governed by the same ISO 9001:2015 system that runs across our casting and finishing lines, supported by Six Sigma practices and annual audits. Inspection happens stage by stage rather than only at the end, so a feature that drifts is caught before it reaches your dock.

Material and dimensional inspection reports, certificates of conformance and lot traceability are available on request. For international buyers we machine, finish and document to the same standard — and back it with sea-worthy export packaging, standard Incoterms (EXW / FOB / CIF) and the paperwork your procurement team needs. See our export of aluminium castings for how we ship finished, machined parts worldwide from Nhava Sheva (JNPT).
