An end shield is a motor component that covers one or both ends of the electric motor and is often made of aluminum. Its purpose is to protect the motor components and help dissipate the heat generated by the motor.

At our manufacturing facility, we produce end shields in various sizes that correspond to the motor frame sizes we manufacture. Depending on the customer’s requirements and applications, we can also produce end shields with fins and double-sided bearing fitting. Our end shields, which can be either driving or non-driving, are made without any blowholes or porosity defects and range in size from 63 to 132 frames.
