Cookware

Aluminium cookware is a popular type of kitchenware that is made from lightweight and durable aluminium metal, which has excellent heat conductivity. It is known for its low cost and efficient heating, which allows for even cooking and the use of non-stick coatings.

Ishaan Engineering has successfully manufactured a range of cookware, including grill pans, frying pans, dosa/uttapa tawas, appam patras, grillers, woks, roti makers, and more, using die casting techniques. These cookware items come in various shapes and sizes, ranging from 50 grams to 2 kgs, depending on their intended use.

To ensure the quality of our cookware, we use only food-grade aluminium in our castings, and we follow strict procedures for refining and cleaning the metal and furnace to maintain its purity. We also have an in-house testing facility with an oven that allows us to test the cookware castings at temperatures of up to 450 degrees Celsius. Our manufacturing process has been able to sustain temperatures of up to 400 degrees Celsius without any defects, ensuring that our cookware is of the highest quality.

  • Lightweight: IE has been successful in manufacturing lightweight aluminum cookware that is easy to handle and maneuver, even when filled with heavy ingredients. With our expertise in casting, we have been able to produce cookware as thin as 1.5 mm.
  • Good heat conductor: At IE, we ensure the use of the appropriate grade of aluminum to achieve better and uniform heat conductivity across the entire surface while cooking. This is because aluminum is an excellent conductor of heat, allowing it to heat up quickly and evenly. As a result, hot spots are reduced, and food is cooked evenly.
  • Cost-effective: In contrast to other cookware materials like cast iron or stainless steel, aluminum cookware is known for its affordability. Through careful design, we have been able to minimize the cost of the parts by reducing secondary operations.
  • Versatile: Aluminum cookware is suitable for use on a variety of cooking surfaces, including gas, electric, and induction stovetops, and can also be used in the oven and under the broiler.
  • Easy to clean: We ensure that the aluminum cookware we manufacture is easy to clean and maintain due to its non-porous nature, which eliminates any areas where food can become stuck. We take care to process the castings to achieve the required surface quality for this purpose.

In summary, Ishaan Engineering ensures that their aluminum cookware provides a harmonious blend of reasonable cost, practicality, and adaptability, making it a popular selection among both amateur and experienced chefs.
